پاکستان کی تاریخ کا سب سے پہلاغیر مطابقتی جگر ٹرانسپلانٹ کا کامیاب آپریشن، باپ مریض اور اس کو جگر عطیہ کرنے والی بیٹی دونوں کی حالت ٹھیک ہے۔ برطانوی نشریاتی ادارے کی رپورٹ کے مطابق فیصل آباد کے رہائشی طارق اقبال شہزادہ کا سندھ کے ضلع خیر پورمیں پیر عبدالقادر شاہ جیلانی انسٹیٹیوٹ آف میڈیکل سائنسز گمبٹ میں پاکستان کی تاریخ میں پہلی مرتبہ غیر مطابقتی (abo- incompatible) طریقہ کار کے مطابق جگر کا کامیاب ٹرانسپلانٹ کیا گیا۔

آپریشن سے ہوش میں آتے ہی والد نے اپنی بیٹی کے بارے میں پوچھا۔اس موقع پر انہوں نے کہا کہ بیٹیاں لیتی کچھ نہیں بلکہ دیتی ہی ہیں۔ میری بیٹی نے بھی مجھے اپنا جگر دے کر میری جان بچا لی ہے۔ میں اس کا شکریہ تو ہرگز نہیں ادا کر سکتا                                                                                                                                                                                 The daughter saved her father's life by donating her liver
